Music Ministry Make a joyful noise unto the Lord and join us as we use the full range of our creative talents to share God's truth. The purpose of the worship ministries at St. Luke is to lead the people of this church into a lifestyle of worship. We want to see people worship the Lord, not only on Sundays, but through the life that they lead the rest of the week. We want to create an atmosphere in every service that will draw people into the presence of the Lord, and allow Him to minister to their needs through His presence in their lives. Worship Choir Be an essential part of worship by singing in the adult choir. Come and join us if you have a heart to praise and serve! The Worship Choir is open to all teens and adults who love to sing. The choir leads worship Sunday mornings, September through July, and performs at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, with different concerts given during the year. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM in the Choir Loft of the Sanctuary. The choir is under the direction of Chris Frye. Are you being called to share your God-given gift as part of the praise and worship band during Sunday morning services? If so, please call the office at (408)736-9216 and leave a message for Joe Howard, our Praise and Worship Band Leader. Bell Choir Ringing handbells is both challenging and fun, and offers people with little or no experience an opportunity to make music instantly. St. Luke bell ringers are committed Christians who enjoy the fellowship of working together to make heavenly music and enhance the worship services at our church. While previous music reading ability is helpful, it is not required. Bells of St. Luke is open to adults and advanced high school youth. They rehearse weekly from September through early June on Tuesdays, 6:45 - 7:45 p.m. in the church sanctuary and perform approximately ten times per year during the regular worship services. Youth Bell Choir (YBC) meets weekly from September through May on Tuesdays, 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. in the church sanctuary. They perform five times per year during the regular worship services.
