Nursery St. Luke has a nursery program for young children ages two to five during the Sunday morning worship service. The nursery is conveniently located inside the sanctuary, and it is well equipped with trained staff, wonderful books and safe toys your child will love. The nursery is open from 9:30 a.m. until the end of the service every Sunday morning. If you would like to worship peacefully, while your child is taken care of and engaged, this is the place for you. During this time, there will be a toddler learning session from approximately 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (from the end of the Children's Sermon until the start of Communion). While you listen to the sermon, your child will learn a Bible story, sing a song and do a craft. We offer this special program for families with young children so that we can help prepare your child for Sunday School. Your child can either sit with you during the remainder of the worship time, or stay in the nursery. If you prefer to have your children sit with you during the entire service, please know that members of St. Luke like having children in the church service and enjoy hearing the joyful noise of young children. |
